Cap’s Mushroom Jerky was founded in 2024 by two mushroom enthusiasts, Chris and Paul. They started the business in their home kitchen with an idea to offer jerky enthusiasts a new plant-plant based option that tastes just like regular beef jerky. Their goal was to create unique and delicious speciality food that would appeal to everyone, not just vegans and mushroom lovers. Chris and Paul spent months trying to mimic the flavour and texture of beef jerky before launching the product online, retail stores and farmers markets around British Columbia. Now our mouth-watering, plant-based mushroom jerky can be found across British Columbia with a plan to bring it even further in the coming months.
